The first half of the Hump Night Main Event is a variety show featuring guest performances by some of Chicago’s best storytellers, standups, sketch groups and musical acts. The second half is Mullaney Chain, where Kevin Mullaney improvises with some of Chicago finest improvisors. Each week he invites a guest to perform with him. That guest invites a third player of their choice, who invites a fourth who invites a fifth. This once in a lifetime team weaves an original set of improv comedy from a single suggestion.

Matt would first like to thank Under The Gun Theater for casting him in this show with some wickedly talented and fun people. Matt is a graduate of The Second City’s Comedy Studies and Conservatory programs as well as iO’s improv program. He would like to thank the rest of the cast of Richard And The Kids, and their director Kevin Mullaney, for an awesome couple years doing comedy with people way more talented then he is. Mat would also like to thank his family, particularly his mom Lynne and dad David for their everlasting moral, loving and sadly financial support.
